Hart must come back next season

I cant think of a single goal we've conceaded this season where i've thought "Joe Hart would have saved that". To put things in perspective, there is a debate on who England should have in goal . . . . . . . . . . . If Given was English there would be no debate, people need to realise how lucky we are to have Shay. Like I said in a previous post, Hart is class but were all judging him on a good 6 months, GK's mature later, Hart has got so much to learn before he can be trusted to be our number 1.

I've probably seen every goal we have conceded and scored in my life. Can't remember one that was Hart's mistake.

I think he'd be wasted behind Given. If I were Mancini, I'd wait for Given to retire before selling Hart, and then see where he is compared to the world's elite goalkeepers.

What about Torres when we got beta 3-2 off Liverpool?

The winner? yeah that's one. Can't think of many others though.

No the header.

It is not about howlers though his it? It is about how many saves are made that are not routine. For example the 6-0 at Chelsea, none were howelers but he could have saved most of them, and you would expect to to have done so with shots that close to him.

This is why I wanted Given in and would not swap him at this point in time.

Hart didn't make any howlers but he didn't win games for us. Despite having obvious flaws in his game, Given wins us games.

That was the winner wasn't it? Or his second goal at least. I wasn't talking about howlers, i was talking about mistakes. Given staying flat footed on his line and giving Fletcher twice in the league derby and Rooney in the cup derby, an easy chance to score is a mistake on Given's part. The reason Given looks like a world beater is because most of the saves he makes are collected by the majority of keepers in the first place. His save to shots ratio is the best in the league because of his weaknesses elsewhere in the goalkeeping department.

completely agree.

don't get me wrong i would not swap given for any other keeper atm but this is givens only weakness but it is a big weakness of his.
