Hart to Sunderland?

All I can say on behalf of SAFC is, please please please can we have him for a bit?

The ideal situation, for us anyway, is take Hart on loan until January.

Gordon is our No.1, no question about that, but his latest injury is another example of him coming back too soon, and screwing himself up.

Gordon played most the second half of the season with a metal plate in his arm, it was taken out, and what do you know... he broke it again.

He is expected back from his latest setback in late September/October. It would be good for us to allow him to let it heal properly this time.

So, bearing in mind we gave you Fulop (although it didn't really work out)... can we have Hart for a bit please!

Hart has to be the most selfish player in our squad. There's going to be a lot of TOP players sitting on the bench this season, why wont he be a team player? He'll get his chance. He obviously thinks he's unbelievable, he needs to realize that he was 3rd in line behind green and bristol's new keeper for a reason, EXPERIENCE. There isn't a position on the pitch that demands it more than GK.

Don't mind Sunderland, even with Bruce. I used to hate Bruce when he was Wigan manager but he seems to talk alot of sense now and is quite honest. I would rather loan him there than to some skanky club like Birmingham

It's different for keepers, outfield players get brought on from the bench regulary but keepers only ever get on if there is an injury or a serious loss of form.
I reckon he'll be off next summer if we stick with Given this season, both are good keepers but only Hart is going to get better, Given has weaknesses to his game that he has had for years now and he just doesn't get any better at them.
I'd go for Hart myself

You say he should realise he isn't first choice because of lack of experience but how does he get any experience if we just sit him on the bench? As has been said, GK is different from outfield positions. If he isn't first choice he could end up playing very few minutes. In theory he could be 30 years old and still be on our bench due to lack of experience. I don't like his public demands but for all sorts of reasons, if Mancini sees him as second best to Given then loaning him out again should benefit both parties, as long as we get a suitable back up.

I think Given is an all round better keepr for the time being but Hart is the future so difficult situation.

i wouldnt mind Hart going on loand for another year - PROVIDED - there is a get out close this time! haha!
