Quite the way Mark Hughes has amongst City fans?

In our colourful history has there ever been any player, manager or anybody else connected to our great club that has caused such divides in the support?

I can only think of the chairmanship recently of the doctor that has caused such debate!

More or less every manager we've ever had.

I know that mangers always divide opinions but never to the level Mark Hughes seems to have done. I recall many grumbles over HK (as a example) when he started signing ex Everton players but it wasn't to the magnitude felt at the moment.
