Lol cheers guys, although I think you massively overestimate the budget we have (0), and the number of people that will go (probably 0).

But anyway, if anyone is interested.

A few things : always opt for a hotel , any male that offers you a place to stay probably isn't someone you want to waste your night in the town with. A girl offering a place isn't a sure thing of banging her as your dumb friends with you will have the same idea, and she'll probably have a fat roomate that had to be up early. Putting in for a hotel then staying at a girls place isn't exactly a waste of money.

Steal everything you can.

Instead of making 2000 shirts of your band that not many people will buy , make some bootleg shirts of bands in the same genre that people like/ will buy. easy money.

Brothels>groupies

Don't buy drugs from someone you just met. It will probably be a rip off. Would be rude to pass up free shit though

Treat it like a vacation. If you're good being late cause you were doing shit wont matter, if you're bad you won't get asked back anyway may as well have fun.
 
Been on tour a few times with my last band, if you get on with everyone in your band it's like a really fun glorified holiday with mates. The worst thing about it is that if your doing it diy the people who you stay with in each city will want you to go out partying with them when you just want to go to bed, sounds a bit pathetic but if your hammering it every night it gets pretty nackering.

Definitely make sure sleeping is arranged though cos it is really shit having no where to sleep in the middle of freezing Aberdeen or sat in the van in the centre of Edinburgh.

You'll have a great time though whatever happens.
 
Drink plenty of water and take as much shit roll as you can get your hands on. You don't want to be sat on the hard shoulder of the M5 in the back of the van dying for a shit and have nothing to wipe your arse with.

Free things are your friends.

Take plenty of spares (strings, sticks, drumheads etc) cos you'll find that the things that have been working perfectly for years will decide to break at any given moment, just to piss you off.
