Has anything got you off your seat more than a...

Sorry I have a child's bladder and Oliver Reid's thirst on a match day. And I'm big boned

Haha all these years later I feel a little better knowing I was not the only one to rue a goal for us against the scum.
Had a fiver on both....think the 3-1 was 40's but the 5-1 score was 150/1.... still bounced round like a loon for both the goals tho.

Forgetting goals because I don’t think that’s what the OP was getting at, and just talking in a sense of getting you in the edge of your seat, Leroy Sané is the most exciting player I’ve seen and who gets me on the edge of my seat since we had low expectations and had Kinkladze.

Sané is potentially a very special talent and some of the things he does with the ball are incredible for a lad in his early 20s. I’ll be very disappointed should he leave.

Another one is Riyad Mahrez. When he’s ‘on it’, he’s a fucking really exciting and top quality player!

But I agree with the OP, the whole stadium would rise in noise and excitement more than most things I can remember as a City fan, when Yaya went on his big runs!

Looking back, I don’t honestly think there’s a goal I’ve celebrated harder than that for a non Liverpool game/goal. It was probably more for them losing the league but you get what I mean.
It could be some time before there’s a finish like that again for a title run in, defo the best of the PL era.

Agreed about Sane, he’s an incredible player. I’d love him at our place.

Not having a dig, honestly, but the best non City moment I've experienced is Michael Thomas's Friday night special all those years ago, I was a cabbie at the time and took a couple of hours off on a busy Friday evening to watch that game, can still see myself jumping round our front room when he slotted that home.
This is closely followed by Alan Sunderland's Wembley winner in 79, watching it with a room full of rags, to see their joy cut short was a priceless moment.

Haha...I know more than a few lads who’d definitely agree with you there on MT.
One of the lads I used to work with plays seven a side with him and Molby. He said they’re the oldest and fattest on the pitch and nobody can get near them even now!
