Has everyone given up now?

This feels like a raggish thread - let’s enjoy the football we are seeing right now, and take it one game at a time. In this league these days, any freak result can happen, no Raggy ‘we are going to walk it’ statements please - humility is the key and look only to the next game which will always be tough.

We should be proud of what the club is achieving both on and off the pitch and enjoy the journey after so many years of dross - but we should not forget those years and how we looked across at the red lot and despised the horrible crowing, piss taking and entitled way they acted. We are not them we are better and WILL respect every team we play no matter what, and for god sake let’s not end up like THEM
wait til we do a MASSIVE fuck off BANNER

What would suit us is others looking at playing us then seeing the matches around that as ripe for the pickings. The lower placed teams will be starting to think about saving their own skin soon, not puffing their chests out to play us. So there is every chance they decide to ease of against us and save it for matches they think they have a much better chance at.

There is equally every chance non of that will happen though. With each passing week the prize of stopping our winning streak may give teams more reason to play hard.

I think it all comes to down to our reaction after our first loss (if it happens :))
Media will go in to hyperdrive, Teams will be watching to see our next game and if we turn over the next few opponents then its done.

Interesting to see Spurs this weekend, and what they do
Come through that and then realisticly that's it isn't it?

If you think a Spurs win or draw will mean they are a chance to win the title then go ahead and bet big on the odds you will get and watch it paid out on another club.

In seasons of old we could be OPTIMISTIC. Sometimes, blind optimism was all we had.

We are now good enough to feel CONFIDENT.

Just let’s not be ARROGANT. We’ve hated it for years as a rag attribute so why the fcuk would we want to imitate them now?

  • every team from 9 down could be relegated
  • every team from 9-4 could clinch a uefa spot,
  • every team from 7-2 could get top 4, (will be honest cannot see us dropping out of that)

Every team has something to play for, including us.

There comes a time usually just after January that the relegation threatened teams realise that draws do not keep you up , wins against your relegation foes do so picking up bookings putting everything into the game and injuries against the top teams is foolish

Another jinx thread

Not one team gives up until its mathamatically (sp) impossible

Pep and the team will know that i'm certain of it

Did 2012 not teach you anything?

Jurgen Klopp: "This season nobody is really fighting any more for the title. I don't think United are. We will all try to come as close as possible but if City don't have any drop then they will probably win it so does that mean all the others have to stop

Honestly I've not got a clue.
I remember the player not signing for us.
But that's not reverlant to this thread.
