Has Garrido broken the world record?

If garrido is going to make it. it will only be as a left winger in a 4 4 2. He isn't quick enough like silvinho, to play as an out and out left back in the prem. Machini is very good friends with Erickson. Ericksons players at the club will be the ones he is most clued up on. This is why i don't think we have seen the last of Benjarni yet either.

garrido took several set pieces after scored at Anfield last season.....i remember he did some on the derby game against United at home

I'd favour Garrido over Sylvinho anyday, he's faster and is good at set pieces. I always thought he did an decent job for us. I know some people on here think he's gash... but I like the guy. Never moans and just gets on with it.

I think he's the type of player that could really flourish under Mancini.

When he scored against Pool last year my lad was going to video Elano from the SS but as Gaz stepped up he said nice and loud 'Fuck Garrido will never score' and closed down his phone'. The rest is history but lots of laughter around us.

To give him is due he said the same thing while watching the Wolves game but this time with a smile and hey-presto GOAL.

To be fair when he stepped up to take the free kick against Liverpool last season I commented rather loudly "If Garrido scores you'll see my arse in Lewis's window tonight"...cue goal and humiliation!!!

I actually think "Javi De Basque" could flourish under Mancio....

He practices them nearly all the time in training!
