Has Mancini lost the dressing room?

I'm rapidly beginning to lose confidenvce in mancini.

After 15 minutes, we're getting completely outworked. Tevez comes off. Why not bring Zabaleta on to win the midfield?

The problem with Mancini is that he's signed players who don't give a shit about me and you, or anybody else at the club. Balotelli can fuck right off. Yaya Toure should have come off as well.

Boyata and Kolarov were awful tonight.

Liverpool won every fifty/fifty and that's because they wanted it more. Why can't Bobby Manc motivate the players?

Boyata gave his all tonight, your criticism is unwarranted.

Kolarov is a cnut.

He might have gave his all, but he was shite.

Every time he got the ball, he gave it away. And for the second goal, but for him and his two mistakes, we would have cleared the ball.

Milner's reaction was a disgrace but this is reminding me of the later stages of Hughes' reign.

Kolarov and Boyata are utter gash tonight. Hoped I'd never see Boyata in a City shirt again after the Arsenal game.

Oh well,

Theess eeza football....

If we win Saturday all will be forgotten. This will be a minor blip on the road to glory.

lol at this thread.

he lost the dressing room 3 weeks after arriving.

Reasons to get rid of mancini :-
crap signings for big money
loaning out players that are better than ones he brought in.
team not giving 100% away from home.
zonal marking.
resting players that should play every week.
negative tactics against the top teams.

sacking to be confirmed with 5th place finish and defeat on saturday.

Absolutely gutted after this performance, but saturdays another day, who knows!

Our zonal marking works a treat to be fair.

It gets automatic bad press since Benitez used it and liverpool leaked a lot of goals..

yep, must be doing something right with our goals against tally. only chelsea better us.
kolarov did need a word or two from zabba tonight though

It changes every week.

Last weekend we had a picture of the whole team smiling celebrating Vieira's goals with people loving it etc.

Then we had the thread about how Mancini took them all out for a meal and it got the responses of "he's finally listened", "he's building bridges", "great too see them all out together, getting everyone pulling in the same direction" etc...

A mere 7 days later and it's "he lost it 3 weeks in", "there's no moral what-so-ever", "the players don't want to be here/ can't be motivated/ aren't happy" etc...

Why don't we wait till the end of the season and judge Mancini and the team?... Because i'm sure if we go out next weekend and smash United we'll be back to the "Who thinks we can still win the league/ finish 2nd?" threads again.

This forum should be shut till the following day as directly after a match its full of pure over-reaction, on both ends of the spectrum.

players being happy for Vieira scoring a goal has nothing to do whether or not the players like the manager.

Yes, we should all be fucking smiling and dancing around after that horrid performance, I was wondering why Milner never hugged Mancini.

Football is all about emotions and this game has epitomised that more than anything.People seem to know so much after the event but will surely claim they knew months ago.Mancini has lost the dressing room blah blah.According to people on here no manager for many years has had the dressing room!!
If we finish top 4 and win a trophy-brilliant.If we finish top 4 great.
None of the above then lets have another look ,before that just carry on moaning and bestowing your wisdom on all things football that Mancini cant get near to understanding because he's clueless in some peoples eyes.
Disect that performance individually and you can see where mistakes were made on the pitch by players which lead to goals.
Mancini is not blameless and has held his hands up but not one player performed as they can and that goes from keeper onwards.

I hope players aren't using that as an excuse.

Because not one of them gave what I'd consider to be an acceptable performance last night, whether they like the manager or not.

Still much easier to blame manager after manager after manager rather than take responsibility for your own sub par performance.

Fuckin disgraceful performance from everyone in the team.

Yes no silva from the start, yes no dejong - both crucial in our first 11.

BUT - Have you noticed no one wants to make a tackle in case they get injured for Saturday!!

This game was our priority right now - not fucking saturday!!

I only hope its all worth it come 7.15pm on 16/4/11 ..................................

Absolutely right. THE priority was three points against Liverpool and 4th place -NOT this w/e........................Im afraid last night was just representative of 75 mins of most games we've played under Mancini.

I had a talk late last night with my good friend, who happens to be a Liverpool fan. He has a good objective eye and asked me what was wrong with Man City.

He asked me what happened to Milner, who was a very good player for Villa; he asked me what happened to YaYa, who was immense for Barca; he asked me what happened to Dzeko who was one of the most feared attackers in Europe for Wolfsburg; or what was up with Balotelli, - supposedly the most talented striker in the world; he asked me why the players don't seem to give a shit about one another (when Carlos injury occurred, no one as much as gave him a pad on the back, when Balotelli went down no one bothered to check him up except for a few L'pool players). And he asked me why a team with such a huge quality squad could perform so utterly poorly from time to time.

I'm sorry to say I couldn't really come up with another answer than "blame the manager".
I have never been a "Mancini out'er", but something is wrong with the way he manages the team, and I fully understand and support Milner's reaction last night.
A manager should be bale to get the best out of the team, the best out of each individual player, to unify them and to motivate them and be able to change what is wrong with a game plan.

I don't know if Mancini has lost the dressing room or not, but hew has lost my support, not solely because of last nights performance I should add.
