Has social media made the UK more right wing?

I think social media has given a voice to those crack pots that were largely ignored. But they were always there in society.

Here's an example of a post Twitter threw up for me last week:

I reported it but apparently, despite the very obvious anti-semitic caricature, it does not break their rules.

I am firmly in favour of banning the site for under 18's.

I'm not sure I agree that the majority of this forum sit on the left. A forum with 90% middle aged men is quite unlikely to be left leaning.

It's also the case that often right wingers aren't keen to admit that they're rw whereas left wingers are usually more happy to say they are. There's clearly quite a few on this forum (maybe you're one I've not seen many of your posts) that claim they are centrists and are very clearly not.
A forum where most will be from a working class background in a City that has always been radical, from the Peterloo Massacre of 1819, the anti corn law league in 1839, Pankhurst Sisters and the suffragette movement just before and after the Great War it would be perfectly normal to expect a left leaning majority on here
