Has Tevez lost the plot?

Tevez staying could be the worst thing for City. yes he's a great player, but with Dzeko finding his form from germany and Aguerra being great complement for him and Balotelli on the bench, tevez can really ruin this partnership. Despite being a great player, Tevez is not much of a team player when it comes to passing and linking up. it seems City have found a very balanced team with no egos. And i doubt he would accept bench time.....so he could really do more damage than good from now on

Its not upto him who chooses the side, so whether he accepts it or not, its not his choice.
I know its not up to him. He just doesnt strike me the type that will keep quite, train hard and do his best to win his place back. We will see more interviews from his pimp and himself, they will push for a move in january and i dont doubt City has won this battle yet. kia is a clever guy and Tevez is stupid, Im sure come January time if he doesnt get his move, he will make his position at City untenable and force the clubs hand

I'd rather look at the positive of having Tevez at our club because actually I can't see any negatives from it....

My concern is he is already having a negative influence on Aguero in terms of learning English.

I think we need Zab to shove a copy of Rosetta in Tevez's fat gob.

Have to completely disagree with you Arsene and personally am now thinking you must be pretty stupid to say that Tevez is not a team player when it comes to linking up and passing? - Seriously did you watch any of the games last season? Attend any? Watch any on TV? Anything?
Tevez is SUPREME in those departments, I really am staggered at some peoples stupidity sometimes.
This SQUAD can and might win the league this season but it is a squad game and the season is long, we need all the world class players we can get (as any team obviously does) and I hope no idiots boo the guy at home.
I dont like what he has said in the past but lets just move on and if he goes in January then fine, good luck etc....
But come on guys dont let your anger blind you to the facts as it makes you look a right tool......ok rant over and sorry

-- Sun Sep 04, 2011 1:22 pm --

I agree that there could be some negatives but this one that you fear is very unlikely I feel.....the potential positives massively outweigh the potential negatives and thats the way we need to view it.

Tevez' vision is great when he drop deep, his link up play in and around the box consists of passing to himself.

He is a great player, but perhaps not so strong in our 'give and go' system.

If you'd said that he can be quite greedy in and around the box and doesn't play the give and go in that area too much then I would possibly have agreed with you.

That is what i said.

But if you're agreeing with me, then your previous comment of him being 'supreme' at linking and passing is wrong.

I think City are more than happy to sell Tevez in january. Even for a cut-price deal with Corinthians...who have promised to come back in for him.

But Tevez seems to be content now and has 1 more friend in Aguero now. And his family is in manchester.

I doubt Mancini will give him that much playing time. Rotate him but he is 3rd or 4th choice. So he can't ruin anything....and he can cry as much as he want to the media and look unhappy in training, but it wont affect the others. Pretty sure of that. Im sure even all Tevez teammates knows what a dick he is.

Also watch the one -two with Milner for the first goal, its a nonsense that Tevez lacks anything in the link up play department. Maybe can be criticised for being too greedy at times but hes a striker, what do you want?

No there's a subtle difference which is that he is capable of supreme link up play and has it in his locker when he uses it but sometimes maybe he is too greedy yes. See my previous comment with link :)

-- Sun Sep 04, 2011 2:24 pm --
