Has the last month been the best in your life??

Think it still needs to sink in, but it surely has to be up there, I've finally stopped trying to compete with Jack grealish for the "drunkest man in Manchester" award, maybe a few sober days and it will sink in how good these last few weeks have actually been. Great days for all of us

Correct. We treat football as so much more than a game. And I'm as guilty as anyone in that regard; watching that game on saturday night was pure torture. But it really is only a game. Shankly was wrong all those years ago; it isn't more important than life or death. Okay; taking my serious hat off now; yeah, I've had worse months following this club.

The last 2 months have felt absolutely surreal, it’ll take all summer and longer for it to sink in bit by bit. Beating Utd at Wembley in an FA Cup Final is beyond my wildest boyhood dreams back in the early 70’s … but to be European Champions as well within a week of it, winning the ‘pure’ treble in the process, is downright bonkers.
 
Football wise it will never be topped for me.
This really has been the very stuff of the wildest of wildest dreams.
I have always been a bit of a day dreamer and most of them crazy day dreams have always involved exactly what’s just happened one way or another. Still not quite believing what’s happened I am 58, proud to be miserable by default Mancunian, it’s all just a little bit surreal at the moment.

Back to the day dreaming…….

If dreams are coming true then bring on the threesome with Suzanna Reid and Lily James that’s taking up the rest of the day dreams though, knowing my luck (unlucky Alf) City will get in the way again the bastards and I will end up with Peter Reid and David James - Bugger!
 
According to my wife, I was in a really bad mood for 3 months after the CL final loss.

This CL final win for me was.. just a massive pressure release vent.. that prick Evra won't be able to taunt us with our failures anymore.

I'm happy. She's happy. In much better moods all around but best month of my life?? Not sure but I'm surely not complaining!

Best month of following City?? Maybe.. but Pep's press conference, beating Leipzig, Bayern, Real was really good too.

Best season as a City fan? No doubt about it!
 
Feels quite weird like it’s more of a relief still at the moment. This may sound weird but I celebrated the cup final more but was choked up with tears for the champions league. It’s been an incredible last few months one I will never forget.
 
Football wise on the pitch we have been so lucky, I personally don't think we will see another ending like this yr. But as fans we get treated like shit. Uefa asshole (ill never forget seeing families with young kids, disabled and old folks struggling after the CL. Made me want to greet. Were just a number even starting to feel like that at city. They don't listen to what the supporters want anymore. Just a money business sadly as there are plenty tourists willing to pay whatever.
