Not looking for arguments here, so just ignore me if need be. I really am looking forward to Saturday and as always I'm hoping for a Utd win. I think it will be a great day with both sets of fans really up for it and ready to paint Wembley red and white. I'm really hoping that there's no trouble as occasions like this don't come around often and it will be a real shame if trouble overshadows this day. We have a great chance to show the world what a Manchester derby is all about (cue replies of you don't come from Manchester for the 1000th time) and how we can take the mickey out of each other in the stands, without it descending into violence.

So I sincerely hope you enjoy the trip down, enjoy drinking in London, have a good sing song and even enjoy your 'surprise Poznan' (the worse kept 'secret' of all time). Obviously I hope that's where the enjoyment stops for you and I'd expect no less from yourselves regarding us! It has the potential to be a cracking battle on the pitch, let's hope it stays there and it's great football we're discussing on Saturday night.

Hey no problem pal, have your say. However, history will show that it is your lot that tends to go out looking for trouble. Although to be fair, it tends to be your erm 'out of towners' that start it. Why not stick to enjoying the game rather than going out cherry picking singlular City fans for agg. However, if you want a tear up, go find a pub that has equal numbers of Blues, that would be a first!!

It will be a great day out for all and your right lets show the globe what a great City Manchester is. Thats coming from me a Midlander, tara and see ya Saturday!

A decent and honest gesture and very sporting. I am sure that all blues wish for a trouble free game that, how ever, ends in United loosing.

Let Battle commence.

I'll play nicely...but work with a few Reds who've got no connection whatsover with North West so decided to try a little test (you can do this yourself with workmates etc)
Me: "may the best team win"
Response is either:
a) "we will"- typical arrogant Rag, say no more.
b) "yeah, i agree"
If anyone gets answer "b" I'll be very surprised.

I imagine they're just trying to wind you up mate, having a bit of banter? If you get upset then you're falling for it, I'd just laugh it off. It's like the 'tick tock' thing that the City fan started to try to wind us up, just a bit of fun from my perspective.

Would you expect them to say that we will win? Pre Tevez injury and Liverpool maybe but they are on the crest of a wave at the moment and have a favourable Champions League draw.

The ones I know, some are just complete arseholes to be honest who won't see past anything Utd - fortunately there is a City fan at work who is just the same and actually intimidates them.

The slightly more balanced ones are still confident but I think they might be trying to guard against any complacency. It's been a strange feeling since 2008 because most derbies I haven't gone into with the fear factor anymore but maybe it's a bit more prevalent - the good news is I used to have that in the ones when we actually trounced them!

Does anyone think we might get outsung by the rags?

I'm 50/50 on it to be honest, hard to say who'll be the laudest if say the game is a draw!
