if you are talking about spurs having the entire bottom tier it was quite simple city could not sell a full allocation so the fa gave us the top tier and sold the bottom tier to spurs, yes there were scuffles but on the whole the fa got their money... just for your info the ticket price for the replay was £2.50.. it if you think how many kids and parents went on the saturday it makes sense that they never went back on a thursday night, i e kids had school next day, getting home 2 or 3 in the morning plus adults had work...

I was in bottom tier and it was not all Spurs, think they got hold of some of our tickets

Correct, it was mixed and kicked off to fuck as I missed MacKenzie's goal watching it!

Think thats why flag poles not allowed in anymore, they were being thrown like spears.City and Spurs fighting up and down the concourse most of the game.

A lot of Blues could just not make it for the second game,I struggled to get time off from work at such short notice.

If I remember rightly we took 35 thousand to the replay....

Yes we did take around 30k + to the replay, all the hangers-on who turned up for the first match weren't interested in the replay so we got more tickets. Wembley put "neutral" tickets on sale on the Sunday morning and of course Spurs snapped most of them up which is what caused the trouble.

Plus the fact that in place on the hangers on a load of lads looking for a punch up in London took their place

There were more City fans at the replay than on the Saturday, for night games the Wembley capacity was reduced to 92,500 and both sides were given i believe around 32000 tickets which we sold, Wembley put 20,000 tickets on open sale at the stadium and were snapped up by Spurs fans so they had approx 52000 to our 32000 at the game.

And that game was the first time ever that a FA Cup replay had been held at Wembley. I had a real hard time getting time off the night shift for that replay.

Wigan have sold 10k for the first time ever they'll be a neutral(sp) zone.

Thought they had sold 21k and 10k left?

I got an email through from the FA about tickets available in a neutral area today.

Seems unfair they will get the same as Chelsea or City if they make it to the final

If you use that argument United would be claiming 50% more tickets than City if they meet in a future final.
