As much as we all hate them mate, you can't say **** in an interview.

If it was an interview to be a labourer on a building site it may well not be a problem. If it was to fill the vacant position as Vicar of St Cuthberts I'd keep looking around.

looking through my "getting the job of your dreams" book, at no point does it state that using the word '****' in an interview is an advantageous comment.

in fact it states clearly "under no circumstances is the word '****' to be used within the interview"

Just had another job interview today and i noticed the guy interviewing me is a liverpool fan (he had a picture of shankly and one of them welcome to anfield signs above the door)


anyway the interview comes to an end then i open my mouth and start blabbing on to how bad liverpools season has been ect... and then i said "you got a good win against united & it was too bad we didnt beat the bloody cunts tho"

reckon it will have any effect? he went silent after i said that n i shook his hand n left.. i didnt realise what i done til i left.

Could have been worse .... you could have called HIM a c#nt , or been a United fan!

But yes , he might have thought you were being a bit too outspoken , or 'forward' for his liking , at this stage ...... all you can do now is hope for the best.

Mind you you could always ring him and apologise beforehand ..... he might , just might , respect that !

apart from that everything else was alright, and im sure he said ill probally get a 2nd interview, but i guess ill see.

You are assuming that it was his office.
His office could well be being painted and he was in someone elses.

He could be a rag in which case it could go either way. He could think
1: Ha - a bitter Blue, I'll employ him and keep harping on about our history (abridged version 1980's onwards) and wind him up.
2: I'd better not employ him as the noisy neighbours are getting more noisy and starting to frighten me.

He could be a Blue and be thinking 'I'd better say nowt, just keep quiet and not let on that I've found the man for the job. That last twat was more qualified but was a rag and I'd rather employ a hamster to do the job than him.


Unlikely though.
