It amazes me the lack of faith in Hughes that some supporters have on here, We have just lost out first game of the season ffs, okay it was against the hated Rags, but what other City side of the recent past would have shown the balls to fight back and not just rolled over and got a hammering.
After the first 15 minutes of the match we then went on and controlled the first half, were the width of a post from going in ahead and I geninuingly believed we would then go on to win the game. Granted we were sleepy again at the start of the second half but don't people realise that (whether we like it or not) United are the reigning champions of teh past 3 seasons, hence they know how to play in the massive massive games, they were at home and they will have periods in every game when they totally dominate possession and chances. But again everytime we were knocked down we were able to fight back.
By jumping on Hughes back after this one defeat is counter productive, do they people not see the difference in the attitude of the players, the clear desire they have to play and fight for Manchester City. Qualities that have been lacking for far far too long at our club..
I'm just thankful that the Chairman and Owner have faith and know we are in safe hands under Hughes..

Well said, 3 goals at the swamp, when was the last time? When did last years champions look so worried and relieved. When since MH did we look like beating 2 so-called top 4 sides?

Interesting feedback to my opinions ?.
I am not a fan who has crawled out of the wood !,my dad took me to my first game in 1963 !!.
I am a fan who wants the best for CITY end of.
When i ask the question have we learnt anything,its probably one of the most used lines in football,the basis of any football game is to learn and improve.Do not go along with the views that we were playing a excellent team and we did well to score 3 agaisnt them,we should have slaughtered them on the first half showing.
Now that people have had time to read many pundits views of the game,are they aware that there was tactical changes made in the game at half time that swayed the game the rags way ?.That happens in games,but what i would have liked to have seen would MH then do something about it,time after time crosses came into the box,no team can withstand pressure like that for that lenght of time without conceding.
MH should have done something regarding Richards very early on,Lescott and Toure have been slated for there performances but what could they do when cross after cross kept on coming in.Toure even ventured forward first half and looked very composed in doing so, second half the defence didn't get more than 30 yards upthe field.
I air my views on this forum occasionally,probably because i just get just has frustrated has the next CITY supporter,but i won't get into a kiddes slanging match with anyone ( comprehendy !! )
