Everyone wished me luck as I left the office today, all except the office Spud. who has apparently been telling the office Gooner that he intends to gloat all day tomorrow if the Hot Farts get a result, But but "don't tell Pam", he said.

The Office Gooner snitched it all to me the first chance he got, Also, the said office spud has been denying this to my face for the last two days straight, but he is quietly confident apparently, or even more than just quietly confident. Almost cocky, the Gooner said.

Spud had better ring in sick tomoz if we win.

work in hull so you get the usual array of 'fans' of the sky 4. these people are plums and revel in winding me up because they know i'm a real supporter. the hull fans have not said a lot about it but i guess they would keep their heads down given the circumstances. the surprise for me was the spuds fan who is actually a cockney. saw him twice today. 1st time he let on and said "big game tonight kev". then saw him in car-park on way out. both of us said see you in morning and walked away. then he sort of spoilt it by shouting "remember '81". of course i had to shout back so referred him to the ballet on ice. will be wearing sky blue in morning no matter what.

Fortunately no Spuds fans at work. However plenty of Blue and Red Dippers waiting to ambush their boss later tonight if it all goes tits up. Phrases like " time on our side"; " work in progress"; " obvious decline of the Sky four"; "a lack of Champions League Football didn't stop Tevez coming" etc; - are all being placed on Sky Blue Alert.

there i fixed it for you.
Thank me later if need be (but i hope and pray you dont need to).

Booked the week off work a few weeks ago (well as soon as the fixture was confirmed), as i was off on Monday for the Public holiday, then needed today off to plane spotting, and it was easy as they were all just sitting there, not moving like usual, and need tomorrow off to recover from my hangover (though hope that i am still drunk celebrating), and no point starting the week on a friday.
Got a phone call from a red dipper colleague to see if i got away, and when he heard that i didnt, he offered to pick me up and drive to the pub of my choice to watch the game, I just hope he doesnt want a glass of coke for each pint I order otherwise his cafeine levels will be a risk to his health.

I'm working tonight start at 8pm i'm glad in some ways don't think my blood pressure could take watching this one...

I've taken tonight off work.I work with 2 spuds & going to watch the match with one of them at our local club in sale.Iam not to sure if its a good idea could'nt take the shit IF it goes the wrong way.For feck sake what am i talking about its not going to happen COME ON CITY!!!!!!!!!

I booked this week and next week off ages ago.

Not going to the match though because a sprained ankle and/or nerve damage is now giving me horrible pain after getting to the Villa game (have given the card to someone else).

So I will be sat here with my leg up like I have been for the last three days. :-(

I've booked today off.
been at home all day playing fifa and gone through a few cans.
cannot wait to get in the ground!
