Have you ever been offended...

I hate/get offended by/ and upset by news reports on radio and tv about violent crime where graphic details of the crime are broadcast. The details are usually totally unnecessary, and there have been several this week in relation to that poor girl in Bristol who was murdered by her neighbour last Xmas, and the trial is presently going ahead. Reports such as with baby P and the like, where we are told that there were 'x' number of injuries found; the child's back was broken; it had been left to stew in it's own piss and stink. get my drift - the kid was horribly abused! Just because you've got the info, do we need it? Is it really in the public interest that we have all the gory details? More often than not, we just don't need to know.
If it's a documentary, or programme dedicated to the subject, that's one thing, but to have the details foisted on you 24/7 by radio and tv news really fuckin' gets my goat, and makes me want to attack the nearest journalist with a sharp implement, before dripping acid into their eyes followed by their slow disembowellment.
Feeling better already.

It's the secret paedo/rapist/murder entertainment agenda.

Give em a little bit of what they fancy and they will stop short of doing the real thing.

They should teach BDSM in schools and touch on utd.

The BBC, in particular, has far more gay men than most people generally see in their daily lives
Surely that's because straight people avoid gay people at all costs because they're passive aggressive homophobes.

I imagine gays avoid straight people at all costs for the same reason.

What utter bollocks. Nobody I know fits that description, and you are suffering from what appears to be a self imposed persecution compex. If you personally are getting stick, I would look elsewhere for the reasons why and not because of sexuality.

I remember going to the movies watching Reservoir Dogs. About half the audience walked out when Michael Madsen cut off the ear of the policeman. I did however stay.

Baise Moi was a pretty disgusting film, but once again I did finish watching it.

I was offended by a programme about young offenders which showed mobile phone footage of youths throwing a cat from a block of flats. They had to throw it 3 times to finally kill it and thought it was funny to film it. Luckily the main culprit was sent to a YOI and was regularly twatted for what he'd done. Knowing what he'd done was bad enough but seeing the images was very distressing.

Embarrassing Bodies....Who wants to see some old birds gash just after their tea?

Eastenders....shouty shouty shouty.....Shout a bit more

X Factor....Humiliation of people for other peoples benefit.

Question Time.....Enough said

The Sex Education Show at 8PM! I dont want my kid learning about how many people have had a threesome.

I watch little TV now but still have time for......Inbetweeners, Match of the Day, Spooks, Shameless (These last lot of episodes have been great), Apprentice which despite being the type if program I usually dont like I find quite funny.

I'll tell you what I am offended at and it really surprised me....

"FCUK" tee shirts/hoodies etc

I use industrial language far too often, but I really hate seeing these slogans on clothes

Oh my. Unless you're dyslexic I don't see the problem.

..by a film or something on TV?

I was wondering who these people are who write letters to complain to terry wogan on points of view or write to the BBFC about seeing a pair of tits at 9pm or hearing certain language in a film. I can honestly say ive never been offended by any film or anything on TV, i did come close with A Serbian Film but rememebered it was just a film..

i am deeply concerned on how long you have been "stewing on this" ^^^^^^^
