Have you made any good mates through Blue Moon??

I've met a couple of Blue Mooners in 'real life' and possibly a few I didn't know were BMs as lots of people used to say hullo to me at away matches.
Met @Tim of the Oak at the OS AGM recently but unfortunately didn't have a lot of time to talk to him and felt rude rushing off but next time eh Tim?
I do know the man with the 'rude name' in real life (the one who plays golf with Austin Blue) and he's a good lad, but then he is in the Eccles OS!!
Met the legends who are @Ric and @Bill a couple of times.

However, even if I've not met you outside these four walls...whoops I mean this screen... I feel as if I know you and, even when you are not voting for John Boy, Kyle, Bernie or Raz for MOTM, I think you are all great guys and gals. I know, I know but I do mean it. Through lockdown there were times when I came on here knowing that you would all make me laugh.
Thanks a lot for being a great bunch of City loving fans.....and now I shall go and see Matron and get some more of those happy pills!!

Actually I'm going online to watch my daughter in law in Canada receive her Doctorate from the University of British Columbia!! Technology is wonderful. Friday watching my granddaughter's football team at Halifax Uni Nova Scotia and now this today!! Brilliant. But I have got the tissures out ready!! :-)
It was great to meet you @Eccles Blue . Btw when I was using my phone during the meeting that was just to record key points / actions for the Branch membership, rather than anything more exciting lol.

I’ve met loads of good people from here. @Bill is a true legend and would do anything to help fellow Blues. @gordondaviesmoustache is always on top form. @imdaparkside replaced my alarm clock by ringing me before 7am every morning until he said he would give me an alarm call and he overslept lol.

I think I met @Ric a couple of times (briefly) before I knew he was the Godfather of this great Forum. @Prestwich_Blue and @East Level 2 are really top Blues and dedicated so
Much time through contributions to fanzines etc. Even @worsleyweb is a good guy for a RWNJ although @andyhinch is usually there to keep him in line lol. @Rascal is another Bluemooner who is great company. Squirty has a great family.

Lots of other top posters including the devotees of the other great sport of Rugby League.

My lawyer has advised me to not publicly disclose my relationship with any Bluemooners and deny everything, especially any statement made by @Cellarite!
Is this better?

Some random German bloke seems to pop up at matches that I attend. He tried to befriend me at a City match against Villa and I thought that was the end of it.

I’ve since been on two trips to Germany and visited different stadiums. This same bloke, who has a strange taste in music, just happened to be sat next to me at two separate grounds.

I have to say though, for a German, he does seem to have a decent sense of humour.

@Bill made my wife and daughters day by selling me some tickets for Bruno mars @ meesh good lad @ zabaleta5 the same as is blue mist sorry if I’ve missed anyone else @Tim of the Oak would go out of his way to help you if he could not a proper blue though gave him a new pair of city socks as he said he wanted them then gave them away ****:) and anyone else who has sorted me a ticket over the years thank you

Over my years on here i must have met hundreds of you fuckers in real life who have posted on here.

At Scarblu's wake there was over 100 in attendance, including 2 rags who were regular posters at that time. Scarblu was a mate, me and him were the first mods and his passing was a horrible day for BM.Kingy and GSC were stars, there passing was equally awful as was Iwasarichfan, Sue and Ciderjohn.

The overwhelming majority of people i have met over the years have been brilliant people, we do after all share a passion for something greater than than us as individuals. MCFC.

The Waldorf Massif days were superb, I would consider all those who were in their before home games as friends and you know who you are. Some no longer post here but remain friends, i may only see them at games as we have lives, but its always good to see someone from here even if its just to say hello. Special mentions though to Billybluehat, Mcnil, Sharon, the WKD sisters, Liam, Newcross, TV, PB.

There are some very special people on here as well, Ric is a belting lad, Bill has helped me out and is a great fella, Squirty and his missus are good people whose company i have enjoyed. The lads and girls you see at Euro always are always of the highest calibre, again too many too mention but you know who you are too.

Nowadays i always see a number of people in Summerbees, all of whom i consider friends, Ally, Andy, Phil and more.

There is also the Lefties who left the forum, all of whom are good mates, even the RW nutter Ronnie is a great lad.

Chabs is a bit of a twat of mind, thats what living in Northwich does.
