Liverpool fans are impossible to talk to. They're high, mighty and patronising. They aren't arrogant like man utd fans but they are just as annoying with their love of being persecuted. I like scousers as people just not when it comes to football. Everton have an awful lot of scummy fans but the birds are generally fit as fuck (i used to work up there) so I'll reserve hatred on them for that reason alone!

As for crime figures, it is a FACT that in wealthy areas more crime is reported than in areas that are poor, thus claiming there is less crime in Liverpool than Manchester based only on reported crime is foolish and misleading. Having lived in l'pool for years as a student I loved the place - scousers are a bit of a "woe is me, everyone hates me" kind of folk but that's probably a bit too much of a generalisation.....
I used to have an affinity to everton as the "like us" underdog and would go to the match with some lads I knew who were season ticket holders - I even managed to put on a jolly good scouse accent when queing up to watch city there at an evening game when asked the usual "eh, lah.... you got the time mate?" (classic scouser way to find the non scousers before scrapping)
I do have to say I do not like the way moyes has bleated on about us this season - when the reality is that their club decided long ago to sell lescott but were just hanging out for the exorbitant money we eventually payed. this has wound up their fans no end (as the various posters on here) - but handbags really.
However - and as mentioned earlier on here - anyone that has a neville in the team has to be a bunch of utter jobless, theiving, child murdering wankers.

I think ignoring them and making things up based on personal opinion is probably the most idiotic thing i have seen on this message board. The Beatles were a good band though. I've got a soft spot for some of the architecture in Liverpool too, and Boys From The Blackstuff was a great TV show. Actually I don't hate scousers, but I used to really resent the press coverage they got in the Seventies and Eighties, when the violent element of their support was largely ignored in favour of they're all so humorous and friendly etc. It was a bit of a shock when I had to live there for a spell and realised how unlike their stereotypes they were. Nobody invited me into their house to share their last crust of bread, or came out with a brilliant gag.
