Have your views on a European Super League changed in the last three years?

Wigan....Big spenders, perpetual winners, dominant club.

Media recognition of their winning of The Quadruple.... wholehearted, genuine, appreciative.

What a difference !!

Ps....they do play in red.

You’ll find that’s cherry. Absolutely nothing like red.

Although like every other sport I can think of bar football, Super League’s version of FFP is the same for every club in the competition. ( Almost ) You’d have thought those who are constantly screaming for “fair” play in football, would be pushing for something like that.

Although I hope football doesn’t get any ideas from how they choose the teams to play in Super League. Which is well on the way to being decided by the 12 clubs with the most Twitter followers.

No, but the gap between the top clubs in the premier league and the rest is getting bigger. That is in spite of the huge TV money letting the weaker sides afford better players....well until these ridiculous new psr rules came in. We now also have a load more clubs added to the champions league, who with respect to them most aren't good enough to be there. In reality this is a European league running alongside the domestic ones. Add on all the new international games and tournaments and you can see why the players are saying enough is enough.

Super League Rugby Final....a superb example of how a game should be played and reffed !!

Football.has soooo much to learn.....and it won't cost a penny !!
Imagine playing at old Trafford and they have a big tv screen, (according to elsewhere on BM)… so it is possible… just another example of the PL rule breaking by United (along with Liverpool), and nothing happens to them, year in, year out.

Be funny if City pitched to hold it now that the RL are based at the Etihad.

Full stadium
Full hotel
Full Arena

Still think it’s a shit idea built from nothing but greed. Once we (hopefully) beat these charges from the PL watch how they spin it to get fans onside for a super league. Saving them from big bad city. Most will probably fall for it too

There were rumours that was happening. The contract with Old Trafford ended after this year’s final.

But they announced the other day that they’ve agreed a three year extension to keep it there.

@JASR The rags are not breaking any rules by not having screens. The simple reason they don't have any is they would have to remove seats and therefore lose revenue.
There is no Premier League rule that states a club has to have them.
