I can think if better ways of spending £3m. At least it was privately funded I suppose. Surely you'd be better off getting the train from Hazel Grove though? It'd take an eternity to get to town on the bus at rush hour.

Walking from the station to my nonna's on torky Park takes less than ten mins. The 192 in rush hour is a pisstake, always has been. The train station car park is free anyway and was extended last year in the same way the stepping Hill car park was. Still waiting on the powers that be to extend the met into Stockport as was promised about a decade ago, if/when that happens it'll likely go into the Grove too but I don't think it's a priority because the trains are pretty regular unlike the ones to Oldham mumps were for example.

Yes, but if you all went to town on the bus it'd be much quicker.
As long as most people choose to use single occupant cars the journey will be slow.
Imagine how slow and inconvenient it would be for pedestrians and passengers on trains, trams and buses if they all decided to wear bubble suits so they were much larger than necessary. Effectively that's what single occupant car commuters do, and they have only themselves to blame.

Complete white elephant arranged by imbeciles with nothing better to do, 15 cars parked there before and 4 were staff, so that's 11 cars and the occupants of those have probably just wandered into hazel grove itself
One of the main causes of congestion on the a6 are the buses themselves and the sheer number of badly designed traffic lights, those championing car sharing don't live in the real world
