HDMI help

ok i have a plasma tv which shall we say isn't hd ready but has the hdmi port in the back of the set,current set up is in the av port to a normal sky digi box,if i buy a sky hd box and use the hd port on the set will i improve my picture quality???? be gratfull of any help!

Apparently so yes, if the TV has a HDMI port and you use it the TV should be able to give out HD quality picture

If it is HD ready, it will have a sticker on it (by law , i think) some may have the HDMI plug on but are not HD ready. worth checking out propperley before you fork out for Sky HD
