Being reported on the BBC website that Hearts have asked all staff(players and non-playing staff) to take a 50% pay cut from April.
Otherwise the club/business is not sustainable and may fold in the summer.
The first of many I'm afraid.

Wanting all staff to take pay cuts so there will be no pay offs throughout.
Nothing to do with folding.

If the staff don't take 50% pay cuts then they will either be made redundant or Hearts ( and many other clubs)WILL fold as they have no income at present.
It is just basic economics. No income and lots of expenses = no business.
