Heart of Midlothian FC Thread

Absolutely. I could be wrong but I’m not sure you are Devlin greatest fan but we badly miss that type of player. A wee nasty annoying fucker like Brown was, Shinnie is etc etc.

Tavenier has been a decent player but IMO is not a leader of men. He’s certainly no Butcher or Gough type and just too nice

Looks like I chose the right game not to watch lol
I have it on my planner. We could discuss it over a few malts. :)

If I had a Scottish team it would be Hearts so I am.
As a 70's Kippax kid, I was Rangers during the Rangers / Celtic chant. No idea why other than they played in blue. For every Derek Parlane, there was a Billy McNeill. However, what Hearts are doing is a breath of fresh air.

Devlin has been the best player in Scotland this year
Hopefully he stays

Well that was a pleasing weekend wasn't it. It's been gradually dawning on me that Rangers were as big a threat to the title as Celtic, as they quietly move up the table. However, yesterday showed that they dont have anything we don't and, after the first goal, really didn't offer much.

Those of us who remember 85/86 will recall it was only after the second round of matches that we started looking like a team that would run to the end. Lets hope we've got the stamina and the willingness to hold off cashing in on anyone before the season's run.
