Haha, this is true. Once had a colleague in Gurgaon ask me if I wanted to play golf in 40+ degree heat as if it was the most normal thing in the world. Handily I don't play golf but I asked a couple of other colleagues if it was common to spend a day on the golf course in that heat and they were like no he's just a nutter :-)

That said the 'Indians' we are referring to here are the native american/ first nations people I think? Think it comes from prime hunting time being in a warm autumn or something similar?

We have a flowering apple (no fruit). Went mad in May/June. Is now flowering a second time. WTF?
Roses were spectacular in June but rain rotted all the buds of the second show. Now in bud again and the sun is helping them along.
We have a plethora of ladybirds, mostly black with red spots and no greenfly.

28 degrees today , on the coast so have the breeze which is nice , it must be hotter still inland

Last night was awful, too hot , had a proper sweat on , cant open the windows as merlin gets out and the badgers will have him for dinner!

Too hot for me, anything over about 24C is unpleasant. Ideal is around 20-22C like a centrally heated house temperature. Above that it’s too hot.

Having said that we‘re off to Provence soon but the hotel obviously has air con so there’ll be respite from the heat.

I think houses need to start being built with air con here these days. Mine is five years old and doesn’t have it unfortunately.
