As soon as it’s hot, all the Herberts who stay in most of the time are out in force making everywhere busy and making a load of noise that annoys the fuck out of me.

This is me down to a tee. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that way. To be fair, it’s not been too bad this year and the reason is obvious.

I always breathe a sigh of relief when September rolls around.

There is a part of Europe where the rain is battering the grass black and blue and I live there. I am off on holiday and although I am not a sun worshiping twat, I do prefer to have days without horizontal rain. Today, again, is not one of those days.

We arrived in crete to be greeted by 30° of heat at 9pm. It's been mid 30s everyday, the sweat dripping off me just sat on a sunbed. Burnt my back and my head and that's with covering myself with suncream every half n hour. Not for me this heatwave though the Aperol Spritzers are going down a treat.

Did you not check where Crete was situated prior to booking. :-)
