I used to sit in the North Stand, and there were times I would gladly have taken that bloody bell off her (yep, I'm a miserable fucker). Then I went to Blackpool away and was on the same coach as Helen. What a miserable fucking trip that was, she policed the coach like a fucking headmistress! Stopped anyone bringing food or drinks onto the coach, then half way there she started selling stuff from the front! Got to say, fair play on that one though.....very much the entrepreneur.

Don't know if it was the Blackpool 1984 Cup game you are on about, but I was on her coach for that game, bottle of red wine poured into a Ribina bottle.
She had her suspicions (especially as I was half pissed on arrival at the ground) and ''had words'' with me on the way back.
After that, always waited until A coach was sold before booking another coach ticket...... never had that problem on the Football Specials though!
haha, yep that was it. It was the game where someone threw a fire extinguisher at the rozzers. I always remember her saying 'no loop signs out of the window' and wondered what the hell she was on about, until I realised someone was making the 'wanker' sign at the back of the coach (not sure, but I think we may have passed the Rag players coach on the motorway).

I remember going as a little lad and hearing the chant ''Helen is a big fat football hooligan'' and thinking it was dead funny. A few years later when I started going to away games, I remember her being a fucking nightmare if you went on the supporters bus (especially considering the antics on Maynes's at the time). That said, she's deffo a City icon and I think it would look ace if a statue of her was somewhere outside the ground.

How about Tits out Jackie is she not the modern day version but witha modern day pikey twist to it? How about if they attached a pair of clangers to her knockers and you could here them ringing around the ground every time she whips them out for the lads.

You could just imagine that cheeky grin on Mario's face whilst he is parading the trophy around Jackie with them out.

I am sat here giggling like a school girl!

Back in the late 1970s I was on Helens coach for a midweek away game at
QPR. After the game as we were leaving two City fans came to the coach door and asked politely if they could have a lift back, they had originally hitched it down to the game, Big Helen did not give the coach driver a chance to say anything, she told the lads NO, then told the driver to carry on !

The coach wasnt even full ! I never liked the woman after this.

In the tune of heads, shoulder, knees and toes -

Tits out Jackie suck my cock, suck my cock,
Tits out Jackie suck, my cock, suck my cock,
her tits are like a pebble in a sock,
tits out Jackie suck my cock, suck my cock.

This is what happens when twenty, 20-30 year olds go on a european away day/

Can you imagine some Sky herbert having to ask the connection....with the world watching.....be well mint.

ye and the bell rings in the wind.

The song ''Helen Helen ring your bell!'' and ''Helen is a big fat football hooligan!'' should start to be sung at the match. I can see it confusing the media and the away fans, not to mention some of our new fans,it will be a classic.

I remember Helen and her bell and i have been on her coach a few times to away matches if i wanted a quiet no bother game.Legend has it that a Leeds fan at Elland road said,''I am having that bell you fat cow!'' and she replied,''If you want it lad have it!'' and wellied him over the head with it,lol!

A great character,no nonsense.eccentric and slightly mad,as we all were in those days.We had to be to put up with it week after week!

The guy with all the City gear on was definately in the London supporters club and travelled on the group travel from Euston organised by Tina Robinson in the eighties.I remember as i was living in Kent at the time and travelled with them a few times.

I got to chat with ''Mad Pete'' a few times on the football special in the mid 80's. He was living in Accrington at the time (and at mid week games always complained like mad as he wouldn't be able to get back to the town as the last train from Vic was long gone....)
He was out of work (who wasn't) back then and he got a job at Heathrow, hence his move to London.

Thing is, he looked 50 back then but doesn't look 80 now!....... fair play to him and great to see him still going and wearing the colours proudly :)

I chatted to him too and he said he had never had any aggro wearing all the gear, even at Millwall, which in the eighties was pretty remarkable! It was nice that even hardcore hooligans respected a loyal fan and character.Sorry to veer away from the original Helen post a little!

Mad Pete used to sit front row South stand first couple of seasons, aint seen him last couple of seasons though?
