Have you seen the league table recently fool??
OK we mite be 2 points from relegation but we're 5 points behind 8th with a game in hand thanks to today so if what your trying to say is that he has come in to a team that slipped off last season even tho we finished 9th and had one of the best season in the clubs history with 8 players that didn't even know each other until they came to city. Then you go on and say that
he has to reassure the current playing staff that they are wanted whilst simultaneously looking at signing their replacements
Every team has players that are wanted United have Ronaldo and Vidic Arsenal have Toure and Fabregas Liverpool have Kean and Torres but you think that Fergie/Wenger/Benitez would allow these players to go unless they could get adequate cover NO of course not its only the exact same thing Hughes is doing our players know they are wanted but I can see all except for Elano wanting to stay and fight many of our players have said they are relishing the opportunity to have some competition especially the young players cause lets face it young players can get better working with the best.
No one is asking for a quick fix Hughes didn't come in and say I wanna buy Kaka I wanna buy Villa oh I'll take him him and him thats all media talk and if you want to believe what the papers say then you mite as well live in your own little fantasy world Hughes came in and said he wants to take this club to the top he didn't say I'll do it in a yr or 2 he said realistically it will take up to 3 or 4 years which I feel 2 be understandable but when you have mindless fans that try to compare us to the top teams not many people know 2 yrs ago we were fighting relegation people mite say we are now but that's bollocks there's no relegation fight there's still 18 games left that's just under half a season anything can happen then Hughes has assessed our team he knows the situation he knows where needs strengthening he has already bought Bridge you honestly think Bridge would play for a team that could be on there way down don't talk bollocks he knows whats going on he knows where we are going that's what convinced him otherwise am sure he wouldn't of mind sitting on the Chelski bench for another few seasons.
It all comes down to that you clearly don't know what your talking about you clearly don't know City like we do nothing is wrong we have good backroom staff and players we just have found it harder to adjust then last season we have one of the youngest sides in the prem and there all good players on there day Hart, Zab, Richards, Kompany, Robinho, Fernandes, Sturridge, Ireland all we need to do is just get some of them to there best again (Robinho, Zab, Ireland and Kompany the ones exempt) and we need a bit more experience in the side then its just smooth sailing from there.
Rome wasn't built in a day
