HELP FIREFOX AND INTERNET BEING DAFT

went on facebook last night it worked come on today and it says it cant load the page... ive checked my firewall its set to letting me on it yet it wont... what else can i do ive tried it in firefox and internet explorer still no joy.....

Can you access the internet through any other programs, such as MSN, or an email client?
