Help for Heros - Eastlands Bar Last Tuesday

I agree with all thats been said. Real Heroes.

I also agree with the Government have been shamed by their lack of support.

As a serviceman who has served in some right doss-holes i am extremely grateful of the public showing their support.

By coincidence, the blind lad on the Help for Heroes tv advert is a very good friend of mine, and since his horrific injuries and with aid from these charities, he has since gone on to build his life and is helping other injured servicemen and women.

This is only possible due to the British public and their charitable donations, so on behalf of my mate, i would like to say a big thankyou and may it carry on for years to come.

Well put Kinkladze!

I'm serving in the forces to and part of my job is to deliver rehabiliation to the soldiers.

I did my Exercise Rehabiliation Instructor training at Headley Court the centre of excellence. Since Help for Heroes has been rolled out, the facilities have been improved through the money, the good public donated.

Severed in Iraq delivering Rehabiliation in field Hospital!!!

I know City offer forces discount on tickets, but I'm not sure they have extended this to providing the injured soldiers with comps.

Its great to see Headley Court getting the recognition it so rightly deserves. With the media showing soldiers being rehabilitated and with their humour still in tact is a brilliant insight for civilians, who would otherwise have been in the dark.

My mucker always has a good word to say about the staff at Headley Court, and long may it continue.

It's a very worthy cause. I'm running (well....jogging....slowly) the London Marathon for them in April.
Here's a link to my charity page if anyone has got a few quid they fancy donating ;)
