Help - Is my wife a racist?

Male Scouse accents are ok. Female one's are the work of satan and all his little helpers.

The Birmingham accent however is wrong for both sexes.

After well over thirty years of being together my wife has finally confessed to me..... She absolutely hates the scouse accent. Does this make her a racist, bearing in mind she does like the people from Liverpool as much as she does from anywhere else?

Does anyone on here have dislikes of any particular accents?

Me, I find all accents fascinating and like listening to people speak from all parts of the country.

Disagree on both counts.

Love the variety of accents in this country and also love trying to guess where a particular accent is from. I'm usually shite, but occasionally sublime at that particular game. Great feeling when you get it right.

Regarding accents, everywhere seems to have varying degrees of said accent but the Scouse seems to be in your face the majority of the time, it's one of the funniest for sure.
