Help needed - PLEASE....

Need help. Long time Blue, with all the shit that entailed for decades, but for some fucking reason, recently, I'm feeling optimistic regarding the second half of the season. I know, I know, but I can't fucking kick it. I've tried the following:

1. Defence is shite, we'll win fuck all without Kompany.
2. The Rags are utter shite, but are only 6 points behind.....maybe they'll do another Ferguson and win the league whilst being shit.
3. Arsenal look very, very good. This is their year.

All to no avail though, as I still fancy us. Maybe it's Silva coming back to his best, maybe it's the return of Aguero, maybe it's that I don't think our defence is as bad as everyone says, maybe it's me thinking Sterling is going to get stronger in the coming months, or Yaya will get back to his best with Fern and Delph behind him?

I've no idea what it is, as normally I'm a pessimistic **** where City are concerned, but I just can't shake the feeling of confidence.

So, help me out, please........
 
I think you are right .. perhaps you are just letting go of the past and moving to a more comfortable psychological space moving forward.. or then again perhaps you've finally caved in to delusion. Anyway Malg hope you are right ..
 
Go and have a long chat with @Neville Neville about first team opportunity's for the academy prospects, he'll have you back in the basement in no time at all

Optimism on here?? Refreshing! That's a great start, but in the stands is where it's needed most.
I know it was a bit cheesy but I really liked "City don't worry..." at away games a few seasons ago. We need more of this when we go a goal down.

I've never understood going quiet/slagging team off during the 90 mins...when we're losing is when the team needs us most. Save the moping and pelters for the pub and the forum after.

Also, Komps might be done for the year. We aren't getting Isco. We're hiring Dimitri Seluk as our Director of Football and fucking off the Spanish boys.
 
You need to read the matchday threads fella. Everyones shit, Yaya is a lazy bastard, DeBruyne is a luxury player, Raheem is a clueless waster, Mangala is worth £3.45, Demmi is due his bus pass, Kolorov is wank and all put together with shit tactics by a fucking old **** of a manager.

Maybe your optimistic because you know that it's getting round to that time of the season when we go on these long unbeaten runs (domestic) and when barca knock the stuffing out of arsenal drain every last ounce of confidence right out them in the champs lge they will be no 1 else left to challenge us for the prem! That's the way I'm thinking 2/3 trophies
 
It's exactly how I feel, too. A touch of paranoia that it could be some kind of 'nearly' season,where we lose a cup final and get pipped at the post in the league whilst hitting the semis of the champs league. But overall I think we will finish the season strongly. I hope we are due a bit of luck to get us over the line in some of those competitions.
