Our situation is different from most as my wife is at home and looked after 24/7 by a nurse (2 12-hour shifts per day) with carers coming in 4 times a day to help with turning and all the personal care. So she is never alone, at least not for more than a few minutes, with the carers and the nurses are all fully qualified. They have to be because they have sole responsibility for her care for most of the day. I find it hard to believe that any of the nurses, who are all long-serving and know her well - and like her enormously, would abuse her, except out of spite because of something I had done.
However, sleeping on the job overnight would not be acceptable, and I do suspect that of one nurse who goes to sleep in the room in the evening nearly every time that she's on.
I'd also like to know how the water gets all over the floor in the downstairs toilet but I wouldn't dare put a camera in there!
