We might find out shortly but I think it didn't say anything - just blue and white stripes.

Yep, just a mosaic rather than any message. We've found that, because people don't arrive early enough to hold the display up, the messages are impossible to read!

We were going to put something in tier 3 but couldn't due to time/man power restrictions! Overall, I thought it was a good display!

Honestly, I didn't even noticed said display.

You mustn't have been in the ground at the time? It was a pretty big display!

Great effort made fella, but in my opinion, I think you'd be better investing in a huge crowd surf banner that covers two blocks

Banners like this look great, we have done a few like this.

To cover two blocks would mean a size of 20m x 14m and would cost around £1,800

Also there are complaints from fans underneath not being able to see.. So rather than hold the banner there for say 20 seconds for full view, fans start to push it back after 5 seconds.

Foils are a third of this price, fans are happy because they dont block the view. The problem is fans are late in seats so it leaves empty spaces plus some generally dont want to hold a foil up.

Personally I like designing the foil displays with lettering in eg "MCFC" or "CITY". But the best design in the world doesnt work unless fans are in the seats so on saturday we kept the design to simple stripes so not to spoil with late arrivals. We did have lettering designed for tier 3 but due to a few technicalities we had to stick to tier 1 & 2 only.

It was great fans turning up at 9.30am, cant thank them enough. Please look out for volunteers on the next display, we could do with more people.
