Nobrainer. Relegated..on last day of the season never having been in the bottom three. Let them know what it feels like to go down!

My dream outcome is that we manage to comply with FFP which we may well do. FFP is firmly enforced. United just miss out on chumps league for 3 seasons - meaning Glaziers hang on until then which equals continuing under investment in their squad and at some point in that period the retirement of Baconface.

As long as some form of FFP restraint is in place, they will be too far behind to recover and will most probably become the new Liverpool.

I think a United in freefall would cause too much hand wringing and calls for 'an end to the death of football'. Whereas, a United that still appear competitive, but don't actually win anything and don't get chumps league, assures a long slow death that won't bother anyone who isn't part of the filth circus.

i like this scenario.

Anything that takes time is worth waiting for, we should know that. A slow demise ending in finding their level with the Coventry's and Bristol City's would suit me. Dropping an average of 2-3 places a season. Imagine fat Fred's face when he has to put them as favorites for relegation.

Like us vs Luton in 83?

Not sure about this one. Can't make my mind up which id enjoy more: them getting relegated/going out of business or beating them on goal difference with a last
Minute winner every season

Nothing at all even if they got relegated 10 leagues could be as sweet as beating them to the title and pushing them into second place in the last minute of the season ! Except that is maybe doing it again! I want us beating united in finals and beating them to titles!

City first and united 2nd hurts them far more and makes it so much more exciting

If God offered me the deal that I'd never experience the pleasure of beating the rags again because they'd be relegated and would forever languish in the lower leagues I'd snap his hand off.

I would gain unusually enormous satisfaction from perusing the league tables every single day - this would cumulatively far outweigh the occasional feeling of delirium from beating them twice a season.
