Help with Car

Yes I agree with you, all I can say is that my mental health has not been to good lately and I have issues with a few things, but it's no excuse I hold my hands up
Cricket, I think that came over in your first post, the comment re. your dad especially. All I would say is don't let them con you, a dealers eyes will light up if he thinks you are a soft touch, (tyre insurance!) Can you not go with a mate ?

This is good advice. Take a mate who’s bought and sold a few cars over the years.

And don’t buy any of the add on shite they try and flog you. Scotchguard nonsense, fuckin tyre insurance…deary me…!!

Agree with everyone who has said take someone with you if you are at all able to do so, but if not decide up front what would be a good result that you'd be happy with and what would be an ok result that you could live with. Go for the first one and don't agree to anything less than the second one.
Good luck today.

@Cricket Blue just another bit of advice. You want/need a bigger car so decide what fits the bill before you go to the dealer otherwise you will be talked into what they want to sell you. Have a walk around the forecourt before you speak to a dealer then as your asking them to swap.. 'I was thinking, part ex the Aygo for that xxxxx you've got outside'
Also, what is your budget? A bigger car is more money but again, don't let them lead you if you can only afford another 2 grand, stick to that. Don't do finance if you can't afford it, that's how dealers make the extra money,
Above all, Take a mate

Not necessarily.

Depends on age, brand and spec.

Personally I'd get a better, slightly older can than a brand new Aygo.

My mrs has an Aygo as it happens, she loves it but it only really goes as far as Morrisons and the Trafford centre.
Johnny, I think you understood the point I was making, i.e. like for like.
Mrs Mist has automatic pilot on hers. Like your missus it's set for certain supermarkets and automatically stops if it goes more than 10 miles as it hasn't been programmed.
