Help with UK sizes

I'm at the MCFC homepage and I want to buy some T shirts. I want to get a jersey but I would have no idea what size to get and would really want to try one on before I spend that money. Anyway as far as T shirts go, in the states a large can be a really big T shirt sometimes and I don't want a shroud that hangs over my ass but I don't want it too small either. I'm 5ft 11in, pretty skinny. Any help would be appreciated.

aw FFS, I ended up just getting large but it said in the automated email that sizes have become more "generous" based on feedback....so we'll see. I hate big baggy T shirts but I don't want to look like Renton when he meets Diane in the club either.

Lol nah my t shirts are never as tight as that! I do like them tight but not so tight that my nipples are on show!
