ONE of Northern Ireland’s master musicians has died of a suspected heart attack at the age of 69.
Henry McCullough, a former guitarist with the Wings, hailed from Portstewart in Co Londonderry.
He was invited in the 1970s to play with Paul McCartney’s band and is thought to have been the only musician from the province to play at the Woodstock festival.
Mr McCullough also played with legendary musicians Joe Cocker and Jimi Hendrix.
