Been Blue skies in Whalley Range all day, although it's clouding over now. No sign of thunder though.

Just had a text from my daughter in St Helens she said they just had a horrendous storm, driving in it was frightening.
Nothing here yet though just black clouds.

Yep I've just been in contact with friends near Leigh and they have said exactly the same thing. Hail stones and all sorts. Nothing here in Whalley Range.
