here it comes (Champs League revamp?)

Which is ironic since they are more than happy not to share the money between clubs in their own leagues.

The reason why the premier league is the most successful is because the money is divided up the farest between clubs. Not 100% fair but far farer than in Spain for example.

Either way having all this money in the Premier league is dangerous. Wasn't too long ago that all of the football league clubs were promised a lot of money from ITV digital and the whole thing collapsed.

Mate, if supporters of other clubs are deserting BT, and to a lesser extent Sky, at the rate that blues seem to, based on this forum anyway, I think they could find funding this new deal to be a serious problem. Most of those who still do have sky sports seem to have it on a big discount too, so I just can't see how the two companies are gonna balance their football books at this rate.

What happens come referendum day we vote out ?? How does that leave us with European competition ?

The referendum is about staying or leaving the European Economic Union, not about staying a European nation.
All the countries of the UK will still be part of the European Continent.

Barred just like Russian, Swiss, Icelandic, Norwegian, Turkish, Serbian, Belarussian and other non-EU teams.

They will explain that all previous winners of the champions league get automatic qualification for the preliminary knock out phases (seeded). A bit like the masters golf where previous winners can compete every year until they choose to stop (or snuff it).
That'll be great news for Forest, Villa, Hamburg, Marseille, Red Star etc, although they might struggle a bit.
