Heroes - Bowie tribute @ Everton game

There is a connection between City & Bowie as it happens although it's a bit tenuous. When we moved to CoMS, we took out loans to finance the work we needed to do. I also think we used some of it to buy players as well. We secured these loans against part of our future season ticket income. So we gave up part of a future revenue stream for an up-front cash sum, in a process known as 'securitisation'. The first use of this financial instrument was by Bowie in 1997, who gave up 10 years of future royalties on all his work recorded before 1990 for a cash sum of $55m. He used that to buy the rights to songs owned by a former manager. We used ours to buy Anelka, Vuoso, Macken & Fowler.

Incorrect, anyone ex City or not who is a tax dodger is anti me and my family now lets agree Mr Bowie Rip. "Hate"is not a word I use
Fair enough, sorry for offending you, I try not to use that word too but I let myself down with that comment.
On a separate point- city handled the song issue well last night, playing a variety of great Bowie songs in and amongst the halftime songs, well done city
Rest in peace David Bowie

I am still sorry for upsetting you, but that aside-
Where did the suggestion that Bowie was a tax dodger come from? I mean, if you have some proof or reason to support this odd claim, I'll listen and without doubt agree with you. However, Bowie had lived in Manhattan for the last decade or so, and therefore was not obliged to pay uk tax.
I don't know why but you have attempted to sully the name of a remarkable and completely self made person. Which I don't think is necessary because he wasn't a rag.
