Yet Crouch has a better scoring record than Rooney for England

For me Crouch is a massively underrated player and I'd love to have him start for England (bring back the Robo Crouch). In fact the only reason i think most people don't rate him is because he does look like a lanky streak of piss as Ifwecouldjust.... has obviously just confirmed.

tbf heskey was amazing on sat especially in the first half he isn't in the team to score, he's a team player and he does his job excellently. don't get me wrong i'd love to see England playing more attacking football and not require hesky but we haven't got the forwards to do so effectively, and if anyone says we should play crouch i want names and addresses he's shite and his 'impressive' goal scoring record is mearly down to scoring in friendly games against shite teams; uraguay, hungary, jamacia, trinidad, greece, andora macedonia, estonia, austria, croatia, urkraine, belarus, egypt and mexico, only one was scored in a major finals (against trinidad) and 9 in qualifiers (only 1 of which was a winning goal and that was against macedonia) crouch is the berbatov of England.
