You got em? I remember QUAD being tidy gear. Bit out of mine and the OP's price range though

Got the origianl 11Ls. Fairly cheap in terms of what you can pay for decent speakers at £390. I have a Musical Fidelity A3.2 Amp and a similar CD palyer. I like detail to my music and this system is as good as a few I've heard at 4 and 5 times the price. I spent money on top quality interconnecting top leads a few months back and I think they are worth it.

The system is more than good enough for the room it's in. If I could ever afford a soundproofed garage like my mate has, I'd probably want to upgrade further.
