does anyone know any methods that work to get rid off them? iv been hiccuping for hours now, and its starting to get really irratating.

the following have been tested and do not work and have left me pondering if there are any methods that actually work?

holding my breath
drinking lots of water
drinking a spoonfull of vinegar (apparently it works)
getting someone to scare me

nothing seems to work

any hiccup experts out there, help would be appreciated

Get someone to put their fingers in your ears, then you pinch your nose with one hand, and drink a glass of water.

That should do the trick
