Hmm? Them connectors are not what I expected. Probably still be able to connect to speaker wire but you'll have to cut the cable to find out..

Too much bass for my little house but yeah, when let loose they sound mint.

Look like standard 4mm speaker plugs to me.

Will wire be soldered to them ? Cut cable further down and splice to new cable and get the tape out?

Red is +.

It won't kill your amp if you connect them the wrong way round. It'll just result in the speaker being out-of-phase, which most people would struggle to hear anyway unless you're in a perfect room with minimal reflections and sat in the stereo sweet spot.

If your Sony speakers have the sprung push fit for bare wire connectors on the back your speaker wire may be too thick to fit.

It does,i do have the sony speakers wire which are bare have no idea what size connectors i would get to go into my amp ? Have just ordered some wire stripper's..

I think you may need banana plugs mate
