Hmm? Them connectors are not what I expected. Probably still be able to connect to speaker wire but you'll have to cut the cable to find out..Which is the plus /minus ?nice speaker's the kef , bit to big for my living room Mrs would have kittens [emoji23]but ta.View attachment 142337

It does,i do have the sony speakers wire which are bare have no idea what size connectors i would get to go into my amp ? Have just ordered some wire stripper's..If your Sony speakers have the sprung push fit for bare wire connectors on the back your speaker wire may be too thick to fit.
I'll try and find an online manual for my amp ,at least i have a couple of options,taGoogle Search
www.google.com
They have 2 different sizes so check

I have the speakers just not sure how to wire them up yet. What sort of budget do you have in mind as that will help narrow down choices and make a big difference to what is recommended ?
With mechanical components and transducers (Turntables/cartridges/speakers) you generally get more bang for your buck. With everything else, either it works, or it doesn't. I don't disagree that certain manufacturers crate a 'signature' sound in the way they implement their output stages, making them warmer or brighter, or that due to impendence mismatches certain separates don't work well together, but in reality, you can get incredibly clean signal reproduction relatively cheaply. What sort of budget do you have in mind as that will help narrow down choices and make a big difference to what is recommended ?
Don't fall for the '10% of the cost of your system on cables' nonsense. A good connection and a low resistance insulated conductor of sufficient current carrying capacity is more than enough. If 2 cables sound different, one of them is broken.I have the speakers just not sure how to wire them up yet.
I googled "4mm banana plug for linn lk100 amp" and it takes you a link for the manual mate. I reckon 4mm banana plugs would do you but have a readI have the speakers just not sure how to wire them up yet.
