Adidas Superstars, Nike Cortez, Adi+Nike tracksuits, polo t-shirts, white socks pulled up to the knee with shorts on, fedoras with tracksuits, bucket hats.
Before big gold chain, before extremely baggy clothes, before jeans worn down past the arse… the originators were the coolest ever!
This was more of a street fashion of the time, as the likes of the Grandmaster Flash and Mele Mel were on TV and videos wearing leather suits and hats looking like a group that had been pulled out of a gay club of the time with loads of product shining in their hair.
