The first one from 'Butcher' and Cole returns my hope for Rap and Hip Hop. I have to listen to the second again. I was out-of-sync with it, oddly.

New Kendrick is great. Think I prefer it to DAMN. Hard to believe a seriously mainstream artist would let us into his uglier side like that. Could have easily put a wall up but he's invited us in.
Yeah, I was overwhelmed. I think he shows Kanye up for what he was. I found a lot of his #issues schtick pretty cock-eyed, full of shit. Or I just didn't care. But I want to play Father Time to all the young lads I meet.
