Anyone had the £500 payment for the Covid 19 payment in their bank account today? I have and haven’t even applied for it?

Someone with links to you could be dragging you into a fraud.

Yep. Wife got it this morning. Don’t recall having anything in writing about this though.

Be careful everyone. There's definitely an e-mail scam doing the rounds on this. I got one the other day even though I'm not entitled to the payment. If you are entitled to it and receive an e-mail purporting to be HMRC/GOV UK my advice would be not to do anything as from what I can gather the payment is made automatically into your bank acount.
