Neither does that other spuds ex player Crooks, just seen his team of the week, not one City player in it and he has Torres as one of his forwards because he had 4 shots on target! Pathetic! Also Wes Brown and Smalling in the back 4, i'm amazed he didn't have David the Gay in goal!

That team was posted Sunday evening before our game - U will probably see alot of City players in his team next Sunday after we have thrashed Bolton.

All I will say is this.

When Hoddle was England manager, he kept picking players because "he eats really well, his diet is terrific". The fact that they couldn't kick a ball, or walk straight for that matter.

I rest my case. He is 2 braincells away from David Icke.

The one thing that is salient in all this is that once again we were slow out of the blocks. I said last night we had to be AT IT from the first whistle to the last. We have to start matching the tempo and intensity or better teams could blow us away first 20. Remember Everton? Well I´m over on the 24th Sept. and I want to see us at them fookers like mad dogs from the off. This languid approach or attitude has to stop if we are to be considered title contenders
After 25 mins we were shit hot btw ;)

Last time we played Everton we gave them a hiding right from the first whistle only to fall away in the second half.

Some of what Glen Hoddle says has a ring of truth at time we were really slow at times trying to cut the ball out. We need to be applying the pressure in the opponents half of the pitch if the club is going to put up a sustained asault for the title.

May I sugggest that next time Barca are on Sky have a look at how high up the field the strikers and attacking midfielders play when their opponents have the ball. As soon as any of the defenders has the ball 1 of the strikers should be presing the defender whos has the ball into playing the ball quickly. This is trhe way that we should be playing, by presing our opponents when they are in their own half and forcing them to play the ball alot quicker then they want to, may lead them into making mistakes, and thus helping us in the processs.

Hoddle is deluded. Not even Neville thought it was anything but a brilliant performance once the first twenty five minutes had passed and we settled. Stan bloody Collymore was positively drooling.

Hoddle and the other begrudgers all seem to have affinities to clubs who are threatened by us or regard themselves as somehow worthier than MCFC. Funny, that. Merson, Nicholas, Big Nose, Alan fucking Hanson. The usual bloody suspects from the usual displaced clubs. The rags are a bit whiny as well, some of them.
